Dream Big – A Gateway to New Beginnings
On the 8th of July 2025, I had a powerful dream. My daughter had bought a home by the sea, and in her house was a unique wall—one that had a hole in it. Through this opening, people could come and climb through it and come back with healing and forgiveness. (Seems strange but God speaks in mysterious ways and the revelation what this meant would come to light – the hole in the wall from what I understood was a gateway. See below for more insight.)
That same morning, I read Mark 8:1–10, the story of Jesus feeding the four thousand with just a few loaves and fish. As I meditated on the passage, I sensed the Lord speaking to me once again—as He has throughout my life:
“If you love Me, feed My sheep.”
And so, Dream Big was born—an act of obedience to this sacred invitation:
To feed, encourage, and equip believers with the Word of God, the Bread of Life.
The Significance of the Number 8
That day, the Lord highlighted the number 8 in several unmistakable ways:
It was the 8th day of the month,
I was reading Mark chapter 8,
And “Dream Big” is made up of 8 letters.
According to the dream dictionary by Martin van der Merwe, the number 8 prophetically represents:
New beginnings,
Abundance,
Righteousness, and
A Gate.
In the Hebraic pictorial alphabet, the number 8 corresponds to the letter Chet, which pictures a fence, wall, or gateway. This reminds us that even when we face what seems like a barrier or wall, God creates a gate of access—a divine opportunity for breakthrough and renewal.
What Dream Big Represents
Dream Big is more than a platform.
It is a spiritual gateway—a place where:
The hungry are fed,
The weary are strengthened,
The discouraged are lifted up, and
Every believer is equipped with the Word, hope, and vision to pursue God’s call.
It’s a space for new beginnings and abundant life—where faith meets purpose, and where we boldly say:
“Lord, lead us in Your ways and help us walk in obedience to Your Word. May the dreams You’ve placed in Your heart for our lives come to fruition.”
So let’s walk through the gate together—and Dream Big, Believe for the Impossible, and live fully for His glory.
